Derived from Greek mythology, the Muses were nine goddesses who symbolized the highest achievements in art and science. Today, a muse is known as a person or object that inspires creativity. At SEED Design, we’ve captured that spark of ingenuity in our own creation—the CASTLE MUSE Pendant.

Crafted from a unique fusion of opal glass and concrete, this pendant is stunning in its simplicity. Available in both classic grey concrete and a deep, dramatic “Noir,” each version brings its own distinct personality and presence to any space.

Design Story

Designed by Chen Chao Cheng, the CASTLE MUSE Pendant draws inspiration from the nine Muses of Greek mythology, goddesses associated with the highest achievements in art and science. Reimagined as an object that inspires creativity, the pendant captures this sense of ingenuity through an unexpected pairing of raw concrete and delicate mouth-blown glass.

Its compact silhouette balances substantial texture with a softly illuminated glass diffuser, creating a striking contrast between strength and refinement. Beautiful when displayed individually or arranged in a series, the CASTLE MUSE Pendant adds sculptural character above bedside tables, kitchen counters, dining areas, and intimate seating spaces.
