Ethnicraft operates production sites in Serbia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia, with specialized ateliers in Indonesia, Serbia, Belgium, Italy, Pakistan and Poland. Production is assigned according to the materials, techniques and craftsmanship required for each collection.

Seed Design Lighting is a Taiwanese lighting company headquartered in Taipei. Its lighting collections are designed and manufactured in-house, allowing Seed Design to oversee product development, engineering, craftsmanship and quality throughout the production process.

Mungo designs, weaves and makes its natural-fibre textiles at the Mungo Mill in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. Its open working mill brings weaving, inspection, finishing and sewing together in one location and reflects the company’s commitment to transparent, traceable production.

SOOS Atelier is an Amsterdam-founded tableware brand offering ceramics, glassware and stainless-steel pieces. Its collections are produced through specialized manufacturing partners, and the country of origin may vary by product and material.

Yes. Ethnicraft is committed to responsible sourcing, using FSC-certified wood and sustainable production practices to minimize environmental impact.

Many pieces arrive fully assembled. Larger items may require minimal assembly, which will be noted on the product page.

We recommend regular dusting with a soft cloth and avoiding harsh chemicals. Specific care instructions may vary by product and are available upon request.

Ethnicraft: Once all products in your shipment are in stock and available for fulfilment, delivery typically takes approximately 4–6 weeks within Canada and the continental United States. For backordered products, this timeframe begins only after the item arrives back in stock. Any estimated restock date shown on a product page is subject to change.

Seed Design Lighting: Delivery timing depends on current inventory and destination. You will receive tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Mungo and SOOS Atelier: These products ship within Canada from Goode Studio in Gibsons, British Columbia. Canada Post tracking will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

All delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by inventory changes, carrier delays, weather, remote destinations or other circumstances outside Goode Studio’s control. Once your order is placed, it enters a shipping queue with our East Coast warehouse, where each piece is carefully pulled and prepared for delivery. This process can take up to 2 weeks, depending on order volume. Once an order ships, transit time is typically 3–4 weeks within Canada and 2–4 weeks within the continental USA, depending on your location.

Due to high sales volume, inventory changes frequently. If and item shows low inventory and you need to confirm availability before ordering, please email crew@goode.studio with the item name, SKU, description, and quantity, and we’ll respond as quickly as possible.

Yes. We recommend reaching out to confirm availability, especially for larger or time-sensitive orders. Our team can provide the most up-to-date information.

Most of our pieces are not made to order. We intentionally work with collections that are regularly restocked through our distribution network, allowing us to offer more reliable availability and shorter lead times. Items that are made to order will be clearly noted in the product description. 

All Goode Studio products are special-order and final-sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges after delivery for change of mind, incorrect selection, colour or material preference, measurement errors, or items that do not fit within the intended space.

Limited cancellation or refund options may apply if a product becomes newly backordered or delayed after purchase, is discontinued, arrives damaged, is defective, or differs from what was ordered. Cancellation requests following a new backorder or delay notification must be submitted within 48 hours and may be subject to payment-processing fees.

Inspect all products and packaging before signing the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading. If you notice visible damage, missing items or discrepancies, describe them clearly on both your copy and the driver’s copy before signing. Writing “subject to inspection” is not sufficient.

If damage is discovered:

• Keep the product and all packaging materials in their original condition.
• Take clear photographs of the product, packaging, shipping labels and documented Bill of Lading.
• Do not assemble, install, alter, repair or use the affected product.
• Email your order number, photographs and a detailed description to crew@goode.studio within 24 hours of delivery.

If you believe the product has a manufacturing defect rather than shipping damage, contact us promptly with your order number, photographs or video, and a description of the issue. We will review the claim with the manufacturer and advise you of the appropriate next steps.
