Design Story

The PI Bench in teak by Alain van Havre continues the collection’s exploration of nature-led design, where the material itself informs the final form. Rather than refining the wood into uniformity, the piece follows its natural curves, edges, and irregularities—resulting in a silhouette that feels both organic and intentional. This “polished imperfect” philosophy gives each bench a distinct identity.

Crafted from solid teak with a varnish finish, the bench highlights the richness and tonal depth of the wood, offering a slightly more pronounced presence compared to lighter finishes.
