Design Story

Designed by Paul Delaisse, the Ease collection places comfort and clarity at its core. Its generous proportions are balanced by restrained detailing, creating a sofa that feels substantial and inviting without becoming visually complicated.

Broad armrests establish the sofa’s grounded silhouette, while a deep seat encourages a more relaxed way of sitting. Multiple layers of foam with varying densities are used through the seat and backrest, balancing softness with the support needed for everyday living.

Ease is upholstered in Italy in a tactile Leche-coloured textile woven from polyester, viscose, cotton and linen. The warm, creamy neutral softens the sofa’s architectural proportions and allows it to work easily alongside natural woods, stone, textured rugs and other understated materials.

Available as a two- or three-seater sofa, Ease is equally suited to a relaxed family living room or a more refined sitting space. Its appeal comes from this balance: generous without feeling oversized, minimal without feeling austere, and comfortable without sacrificing a considered silhouette.

Frequently asked questions

What size sofa works well in a smaller living room?

A two-seater sofa around 70 inches wide can provide generous seating without the footprint of a larger three-seater. The two-seat Ease Sofa measures 71 inches wide while retaining the same 36-inch depth and relaxed proportions as the larger version, making it a strong option when space is more limited but comfort is still a priority.

What makes a sofa feel comfortable for lounging?

Seat depth, cushioning and support all contribute to how comfortable a sofa feels. The Ease Sofa combines a deep seat with multiple layers of foam in different densities through both the seat and backrest. This layered construction is designed to provide softness while maintaining the supportive structure needed for everyday sitting and lounging.

How do you style a cream sofa without making a room feel too neutral?

A cream or warm off-white sofa can act as a quiet foundation for contrasting textures and materials. The Leche upholstery of the Ease Sofa pairs naturally with darker woods, stone, patterned rugs, leather and warmer accent colours. Its broad armrests and substantial silhouette also give the room architectural definition even when the surrounding palette remains neutral.
