Design Story

The Geometric Side Table is an exploration of interaction between form, perspective, and material. Designed by Alain van Havre, the piece is constructed from intersecting geometric volumes that shift in appearance depending on the viewer’s position. This constant transformation gives the table a sense of movement, turning a simple functional object into a dynamic sculptural element within the space.

Material plays a key role in defining its character. In natural oak, the piece feels warm and approachable, highlighting the grain and organic qualities of the wood.
